DIY CHESIRE CAT NAILS
I did this for my birthday party two weeks back.
And it is INCREDIBLY EASY.
Basically, paint one coat onto your nails ( if you’re extremely lazy like me, paint half but ensure that your second layer is of a darker colour, if not the half layer will show and that is extremely ugly, hence it’s still best to paint the FULL NAIL, laziness DOES NOT PAY ): )
WAIT PATIENTLY FOR NAILS TO COMPLETELY DRY. ( I actually continued with the second part the next day)
Next, tape your nails such that 1/3 or whatever desired length of colour you want is protected by the tape.
Paint the rest of your nails.
Wait for it to dry somewhat. I put my fingers in front of the fan for a few minutes and couldn’t resist any longer.
TAKE OFF THE TAPE AND BE PREPARED TO GUSH AT THE AMAZING NEATNESS OF IT. be careful while doing it so you don’t smudge the polish.
WAIT FOR IT TO DRY SOMEMORE, i would suggest lying in your sofa with the television on. and NOT use your lappy, phone or whatever that requires HANDS.
TAPE, POLISH, REPEAT.
FINISH WITH TOP COAT AND VOILAAAA!
you can use ANY COLOURS and even do TWO layers so you don’t have to wait so long. I would suggest contrasting colours. I used quite dark subdued colours because I wanted to represent the dark purple Chesire Cat from Tim Burton’s version of Alice in Wonderland.
ENJOYY (:
